In classical chess it’s often clear who will win the game well before it’s over.
In HYDRA players learn to NEVER GIVE UP until a king is dead.
“But I lost my queen on the third move!”
Then checkmate your opponent with a rook or a bishop or a knight.
Or a pawn.
Examples of stunning upsets in HYDRA are numerous, but perhaps the best example of why players should never give up is a classical gem – known as “the Immortal Game.“ Such stunning victories are fairly rare in classical chess, it’s true, but proof nonetheless that even when heavily outgunned, a game can be won with a rook, bishop, knight – or even a pawn.
Those are the games that are never forgotten.
.
Remember: the loss is yours for the taking AT ANY TIME – why not shoot for a come-from-behind immortal victory???
